I switched mine cause I had wrecked the car and the front end had the clear coating blistering away. Stock LS1 brackets wouldn't work for me anyway, my core support sits about 1/2" lower on the passenger's side now. It's all in front of the front suspension though so it doesn't affect alignment.

If you want to see real hammer talent you should see the truck I have been working on for the past 3 years  Core support sat about 1" further back on one side... door wouldn't open and the fender and door were peeled outward. I used a grinder, BFH, and 30 pack to fix it. The fenders are held on with huge amounts of pressure; whoever unbolts it will more then likely die. |
