In Taiwan, everybody has a camera mounted to their rear view mirror, and uses a scan disk card that can hold like an hour of footage. They're only 100-200 bucks, and it keeps alot of people pretty straight there for as hectic as their traffic is since they take clear footage of their license plates. I'm contemplating giving money to my wifes brother to order me one so I can start hitting people with tickets here in the states. I have days off, and I'm more then willing to go to court and see them be punished.
Back to your story: Next time, tell the crossing guard whats going on, she will be more then glad to have them pull aside and give them a nice lecture/call police to issue ticket. They don't take to kindly people around here, even stopping slightly in the crossing walk.
This is not a rant, this is an eye opener that some are as poor a driver as they are at parenting. You wonder why kids today are terrible drivers, darting in and out of lanes with no signal, stopping at the last minute, etc. For 6 months your parents are the biggest influence on how you drive, now that's a scary thought.
