I thought I would post a picture of my S10 4X4 Vortec 4.3 5 speed.
My brother bought this truck new in 1997 from Westwood Chevy. He used it everyday until 2004 when he bought his 2500 Silverado so the truck sat in his driveway only driven once in a while and then it developed a rod knock around 157,000 miles. After a year of sitting he gave it to me and I had a new crate motor installed. I have owned it for 2.5 years now and it has 178,000 on the body/drivetrain except for the motor. The only thing I did to the paint was buff it, this is the original paint from 1997. It has some mods done to it; a Mufflex 3" catback w/ dual 2.5" out w/ 3.5" tips, a K&N cold air kit, 98-03 outside mirrors, a 2003 black cloth 60/40 bench seat and recently NOS Chevy alunimum wheels and center caps. just wondering what you guys think.
