I'll have to see what I want to do when I get there. If I get this thing going again, test runs will probably be done with the front plate in the windshield.

As for the DMV and getting the plates. I went in 09 down to Trenton I believe during the week, and I was in and out of the place in 10 minutes no questions asked. Now however I'll have to put the car back on insurance for 30 days or so for plate renewal.

And I also stand by no mileage limits with the historic plates. Its the Collectors plates which is used on cars newer than 25 that have a 3000 mile limit. An example I can think of off the bat that would use Collectors plates would be a McLaren F1. Never officially imported here but was allowed through the Show and Go laws (or whatever the laws are called) Under the law a car imported under those laws is limited to 2500 miles a year. Once they turn 25 though all the rules go out the window.

Mileage limits with Historic plates are mostly due to collectors insurance limitations. Though some companies couldn't care less how much you drive it as long as you have a true daily driver.
