I was gonna say get that synthetic out of there. A buddy of mine has a 2000 SS 6 speed. He put Royal Purple in the rear, 3 weeks later it went boom. Shop said the use of synthetic caused the failure, but lied to the warrantee company so he wouldn't have to pay anything for a new rear
