I prefer to switch the whole hose rather then fix the leaking section because the whole hose appears to be shot, if you grab ahold of it it it very soft and spongy feeling which is a sign it is done.

Ok, gotcha. I know you can dremel off the crimped ends and replace it with regular rubber and hose clamps in some cases.
