those shows always seem to miss 1 very important car some how.
the 1973 455 super duty trans am with 4spd. it ran a 13.5 @ 105 mph in the 1/4 off the showroom floor on 6inch wide tires(firestone wide ovals to be exact).
no mass production car went faster until the ZR1 vettes came out and they only matched it in a few tests the first 2years of their production.
hell, there are only a few production cars that can even beat it now, more than 20years later.
i say that is a huge statement in muscle car performance and automotive history
