buy a single plain carb intake and convert it. it will cost about eht esame adn allow for more power over a broader rpm range. any front loader box has air flow flaws, top loaders distribute the air charge evenly.
in the conversion you can also locate teh injectors higher in the runner which allows for better mix and since gas is evaporative the actual charge temp will go down slightly.
either way you shoudl definately do a chip to take full advantage of your efforts.
