Same deal. 2" section, tape, cutoff wheel spinning fast. If it frays just a little I can guide it in with a screwdriver, and when I thread the female hose end onto the male end I use some assembly lube or ATF on the threads. The soft vise jaws and AN wrenches help keep them nice, too.
