the way i see it is that he said he had it fixed and corrected already at court. he went to court and they said if you can show proof that it was fixed they'd let him off. most of the times when this happens, since he already said it was fixed, would leave me to believe that the prosecutor is looking for proof dated before he went to court...if he shows them a receipt with the proof AFTER he already said it was fixed, it would mean he wasnt truthful when he was in court already.
