A Chapter finally closed, a lesson learned.

Today, I finally got to settle a small claims suit involving a 1994 Mustang that I repaired 2 1/2 years ago.... In the end, I got the title, and $620.00 ( made in payments) after negotiations were settled instead of going in front of the judge.

For those who are doing repairs on the side, remember friends are friends, and business is business. Always make sure to write up agreements, and never give exact estimates right off the bat until you properly inspect what needs to be repaired, and if your not sure, add a little more to your estimates just in case. I didn't get the money I put into it, but hopefully if I can sell it I can reclaim it. Keep every single receipt, and any letters you send if there are problems, make sure they are all certified, and you keep track of when they pick up the letter. And even if they are your friends, don't use your own damn money to buy parts, screw it, if they can afford to buy the parts, they can afford to wait and send, or give you the money.
