When the rear in my Tahoe blew, I had taken in apart in my driveway. Had the carrier and gearset sitting on the ground right by the truck and left to go pick up another rear. While I was gone, the wifey noticed some scrappers coming onto the driveway taking my parts! She ran outside and they just used their broken-I-barely-speaka-english, put the stuff down and left. Every time I saw them scouting for scrap after that I would stare them down past my house... they would speed off.
They had gotten really bad for a while, but seem to have let up. Im assuming metal prices went down...
But yeah, sucks what happenned to that Supra... $200k car, not sure Id be leaving it in my driveway without at least something big blocking it in.
