Opted to stay away from any stainless or fancy coatings for welding reasons just in case I have to modify anything. Entire exhaust will be built out of mild steel.
As far as a velocity/merge spike, it wasn't an option. I had to rather sacrifice overall size of header/price/quality and in that ballpark nothing came with any sort of spike. With or without it I will still reach this turbos full potential.
