By owned, I mean actually registered and driven for some length of time, not just bought to part out (which I'm sure some of you guys have done

).
I've owned 12 cars since I got my license in 1990.
1. 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo - The Beast - drove it for 8 months and beat the death out of it. Sold it for -
2. 1987 Dodge Shadow Turbo - drove it for 8 months, beat the death out of it, and sold it for -
3. 1985 Monte Carlo SS - I actually owned this same car twice (sold, and bought it back). I had hopes of restoring it, but the body was too far gone. It's the organ donor to car 12.
4. 1991 Honda Accord coupe - good college commuter, eventually traded in for -
5. 1996 Olds Cutlass coupe - the first and only New car I ever bought, traded in two years later for -
6. 1996 Impala SS - dark green/gray, a sweet car, but a money pit, eventually traded in for -
7. 2000 Dodge Sebring Convertible - A totally fun car. Silver/black top and black leather interior. Some A-hole totalled it out 6 months after I bought it.
8. 2000 Nissan Maxima SE - bought to replace the totalled 'vertible, then I got married, so I sold it, banked the leftover cash, and bought -
9. 1986 Olds Cutlass Salon - dark blue/ blue bucket interior, fully loaded including rare Astroroof option. Used as a daily driver until I bought -
10. 1987 Monte Carlo SS - my current daily driver. Great car with 118K on the clock. Stock White/burg interior.
In between cars 5 & 6, I bought a cheap 1985 Monte SS which I commuted to work in for 4 months. I did some easy work on it and made a profit on the car when I sold it. The sale funded my wife's engagement ring. That's car 11.
Car 12 is my latest project, an '88 Monte SS. It has the drivetrain and suspension from my first '85 SS, along with some other upgrades.
How 'bout the rest of youse?
