wow, you just said what i think every time i see boyd coddingtons fat ass barking orders at people who coudl fabricate circles around him in their sleep.
i jstu hate the way that they create this big buck image of teh hobby, it almost serves to scare away potential do-it-yerselfers. maybe we shoudl start our own show, we will even go uber low budget and put it on public access. we will show how a few people who are reasonably brite and willing to try can accomplish tons of cool stuff with a wrench set from sears and a set of jack stands.
