You aren't paying for the sleeper, you're paying to have a nice new car, with a decent interior that can handle well, stop on a dime and has a decent acceleration and be that sleeper with a few mods. On top of that you get a warranty and the satisfaction of not being like every other person that V previously described as the target audience.
