This Sunday, the names & rankings will be made available to the public. When you see it in front of you, it will be very easy to understand. My girlfriend actually won first place last year, and she has zero interest in college basketball (meanwhile, I didn't fair as well
...and I actually watch college hoops!!)
Teams are ranked from 1-16, (1 being the best).
Yahoo! shows you what percentage of people have selected in each given matchup.
There are always upsets throughout the tournament though--Which puts the "Madness" in March Madness. When in doubt, it's best to go with your gut.
Here's an example of what a filled out bracket will look like--Notice the numbers next to each teams names? Those are their rankings (aka "seeding")
