I should have taken that job with them when they were first starting out Went to work for GM instead dumbass me. SLP outlasted GM in NJ by a long shot who would have guessed that.
and they were really one of the first aftermarket companies to offer performance parts for EFI vehicles. when computers hit cars so many people thought that was the end of horsepower and modifying your car. I think they were leaders back in the 80s. IIRC the company was founded by a hot rodder ed hamburger, already known for high quality oil pans. I thought he sold his stake years ago though.
