SLP outlasted GM in NJ? Yes, if you don't count the fact that the Linden plant made cars as far back as the the early 40s, sure.
SLP had nothing to do with GM to start "thinking" about performance.
A friend of the family's father works for SLP, and he was saying that he took a buy out because he didn't want to move to Michigan, so I don't believe SLP is staying in NJ.
