Bill is 100% correct - when I was talking to SLP at PRI in December, the Roush guys were in the booth for the hour or so I was talking to their people, they were really interested in the chargers on display; very obvious in fact.
I've actually been in negotiation with SLP to reproduce some of their old TPI and LT1 products no longer made under the CTW Motorsports brand - been getting pushed back and back due to Ed Hamburger being "busy" and not giving me an answer on the projects I proposed. I knew back in February that they were either going to merge with someone or be bought out - guess I was right.
Problem is for me is that the whole thing might be a dead deal or at the other extreme, Roush may want to help us out. Need to get some sort of answer out of them. Bad news is SLP knows me - Roush could care less at this point.
Apparently Hamburger was still running the company, even if he cashed out his equity a while back.
