hmm, decisions
ok, so most of you know i have the chrome zr1's on my car right now. the car sits at stock height right now, and they *barely* fit. there's some marks on the wheel wells and the tires where the car is hitting them over bumps.
most of you also know that i have lowering springs and bilstein shocks sitting in my garage. i really want to get them on soon, but i get the feeling that i'll have some real tough issues with the 11" zr1's fitting in the back. i'm pretty sure that the stock 16 x 8.5" wheels will fit even with the car lowered.
also, on the zr1's, the rear wheels could use some new tires. what's on there now are one drag radial which is in decent shape, and some other tire, i can't even remember what kind. the point is, the rear wheels could use a new set of tires, and al can tell you 315's are really expensive. i could probably get 4 245's for the price of 2 315's. BUT, the 16" rims could probably use some new tires too.
so the way i see it, i have a few choices.
1) keep the zr1's, sell the stock 16's, and forget about lowering.
2) sell the zr1's, get new tires for the stock 16's, and lower
3) try to trade the zr1's straight up for some 17" ws6 wheels with new tires, and try to fit those with the springs
what should i do? j0n has a friend who is ready to buy my 16"s right now...
