i need money

i called up a guy that lives around me, who was referred to me by my parents' friend, that does work in his garage.

he said to replace the clutch (including parts and labor) it would be $1050. now, i think i can get the clutch for a little less than what he quoted ($450 for a stock ls1 clutch), but it's still a whole bunch of money.

he also said that he could cut the rotors and replace all the pads for $350, but i think i'd like to learn how to do that myself, maybe with a little help?

i really wish i'd be able to do this all myself, but i don't really have the time or tools. but then again, i only have about $1300 saved up to last me the whole semester, and my girlfriend's birthday is coming up.

i think it's starting to look like i'll have to trade the zr1's, sell the stock 16's, and try to grab some cheap ws6 wheels. i'm also probably gonna sell the sfc's

i'd still like to lower the car, but if i can't afford the clutch, the shocks and springs might have to go too
