Yes it can but the mustang only costs 55,000 were as a 2012 C6Z started @ 74,000. I just watched the top gear with Jeremey racing a bullit train across europe in the new GT500. He said it is the most powerfull V8 production motor ever and also the cheapest priced performance car every for the amount of power you get. He had to find a car that was 35,000 pounds or less. Wonder why he choose the GT500 over the Vettes? They also said that the top speed was 202mph.
being a vette guy I was hoping he would have choosen a base C6 or Base C7 to run but choose the mustang instead...
On a side note anyone else see the C7Z06 Convertible pics going around? That car looks amazing..
