ring on carrier is 3 ch. (sensor on top of housing) 4ch has the abs rings/sensors on each axle, nothing on carrier/housing.
you can run a 3 ch rear in a 4ch car if you use your backing plates and axles.
4 ch housing don't have the hole to be used in a 3ch car.
