Here's the story, I have a 99 hoss with 100k miles. The car runs great, has a built stage 2 t56 with a tick master and cf df clutch, and boltons (stainless headers, BBK ssi manifold, etc). The issue is the car has clear coat peeling on almost every panel. I've decided it's time to part with it but I don't know what the best route is since the f body market is all over the place. I can have the car completely painted for 4k by a friend but will I just be throwing money away? I can part the car but is that the best course of action? The last option is to wrap it as close to the original color as possible but what will that do to the value? I'm not emotionally attached to the car at all, nor am I in any rush to get rid of it. What do you guys think I should do? What would be a fair price for a mint 99 hoss (assuming I get it painted)? What do you guys typically end up with $ wise when you part an fbody? What's a wrapped 99 ss worth?
