sell as is.
I part cars a lot. you will not make the majority of the money back for years. unless you have time tools and storage space, parting cars is a waste. You also need to know the approximate value of parts. I also have over 15 years of "documented" selling parts with happy buyers on many forums and ebay. Some buyers do look for that.
I would sell the car complete even with poor paint since it would be the perfect donor car for some one doing an ls swap. id think you could get 5-6k for it as is.
