This is going to sound monumentally stupid, but I don't know what to do. I was one of the early adopters of GMail, and since my name is relatively unique, I was able to get the email address of
firstname.lastname@gmail.com. Some Philistine from California has his paypal account, his amazon account, his Wells Fargo account, his evike account, etc. all coming to my email address. Apparently, he has the same email account but with a period between the first two letters of my last name and the number 21 at the end. This Nobel Prize winning genius keeps forgetting the 21 at the end of the email and I am getting all of his notifications, and he buys A LOT of guns and gun paraphernalia. And he bought a bunk bed. That combination is disturbing to me.
Fast forward to weeks down the line, he gets a group email coordinating some event that has his cell phone. So I texted him and kindly asked him to stop using my email account. He asked me to forward the emails to some other account, and apologizes. But it hasn't stopped. Every time I get an email, I check to see if my amazon account or paypal account are compromised. I switched my passwords fifty times although GMail notifies you of any new logins with a text, and I haven't received any. I'm just annoyed, and frankly, a little worried about his purchase history.
What should I do? I'm living in paranoia here over a similarly named guy that buys a lot of guns.
