Why would you be ashamed? Even if it was true (which it isnt), , Alfa Romeo makes some quality products, and most of their products are hand made in Italy. Its quality top notch stuff. It blows away the craftsmanship of your standard american made small block. |
CERTAINLY you must be talking about very recent history...Alfa Romeo has historically made some of the most unreliable crap ever sent to the United States in the past...fun cars, good looking ones in some cases even but I assure you that their engines were NOT
quite up to the standards of even a basic LS1 or
Romeo plant (yes it is Romeo, a Ford owned plant in the US, NOT Alfa Romeo the Italian car company LOL) built modular V8.
