Vendors do not make sheet metal, so it’s not about year one or classic industries, etc. Hell you can get quality sheet metal from rock auto and summit.

And some companies that make sheet metal might make a good part X but bad Y, so you cannot blanket say 'buy all sheet metal from company Z" because that may be wrong.

My suggestion is start prowling NastyZ28.com for info on 2nd gen aftermarket sheet metal. And make a list of what you need.

Maybe get used GM parts where you can? Or search for key NOS parts. Depends on who is doing the work, and how right you want it I suppose.


oh, you might be better off finding a decent donor car and using parts off your to build one good car. that shell is probably tweaked pretty good.
