Tow straps != recovery straps.

Don't yank on a tow strap. Its just for slow static pulls, which if someone is stuck in the snow will prob result in you spinning tires.

I would avoid any hooks, shackles etc, minimize the amount of metal **** that will be flying very fast if straps break.

If you do go for a proper kinetic recovery strap, decide on what weight you expect to actually using it for.

Honestly tho, a snow shovel, bag of sand and some of these would more realistically helpful.
