I'm on the fence about sending the 243 heads to AI for a full race porting, basic porting, or just have them cleaned up locally.

Haledon Auto parts has a full service machine shop which is in prospect park (borders Paterson / Haledon / North Haledon). They just did my short block and cleaned the heads. Excellent work and the guy Steve is very knowledgable/experienced, I'd recommend them.
