He swears up and down that the valve seals will not be the problem...but you never know. He is standing behind the engine fully though.....called me yesterday to see if I pulled the plugs yet and said if it's something big that I can't or don't want to fix to let him know.

I pulled the pcv valve out quickly last night with it running at temp and there was suction but I didn't hear it opening and closing...just open when I pulled it, which is normal right? It was also clean as a whistle on the bottom...no oil. If it was bad it would pull oil from the valvetrain into the intake there right? What about the other side maybe where there's just the hose that goes from the valve cover into the throttle body...could I have a problem there? I guess I could check that by removing the SuperRam lid and looking for oil in the plenum?
