honestly, the storker kits aren't worth doing on a 305.
you will have to do the same amount of machine work as rebuilding a 350, plus you would have to add teh cost of the crank to teh mix.
some of teh guys on thirdgen.org did the stroker kits and spent 3-4k on the rebuild, you can buy a gm performance parts 350 short block with a warranty for under 1500.
it is a novel idea, and certainly would stand out. but it jsut doesn't seem to pan out dollar per hp wise.
