I think this is the best sub-forum to post this on.

Anyone interested in going to (or participating in) the 2016 Optima Batteries Search for the Ultimate Street Car event this upcoming MAY 21-22 at NJMP (New Jersey Motorsports Park, in Millville NJ)

The optima event is growing each year, and if you have ever read a few issues of Hot Rod mag, Car Craft, Super Chevy, etc you have seen some type of coverage of this event. This is the first year that the event has come anywhere near NJ as far as I can tell.

I'm really seriously considering participating in the event just as a 1 day of events, not the 2 day, in the novice GTV class. Event is rain or shine. I'll actually be at NJMP the weekend before for the 24 Hours of Lemons event, but not racing, only crew cheifing my team.
