Sorry to butt in guys, but I'm new over here and this thread struck a chord since I am going for this record myself. I have spoken to Shon a few times and there is nothing really special about it, as most others have stated the big thing is weight reduction. I hope to beat the record this fall of maybe next spring since I have to wait for the weather to cooperate and cool off...
My reaceweight is 3190, and it should go down a little more before the fall, plus I still have a little more tweeking to my setup to get in line before then, but it should be fun...
