we use august because it is when the clubs anniversary is. it is also a timeof year when students are home from school and would be able to attend and most families use their vacation time during the summer to attend events.
it also keeps us away from all the other major GM adn f-body events around the region that would prevent people from attending.
currently we do not have the resources to run more than one event. island lets us run this show at their facility for free and there are only 2 of us working on it part time(until the lotto pays off i cna only do this part time
)
there is a good chance of some similar events being run at different times of year in '06. we are jsut waiting to see what develops at a few other facilities.
