I've recently had to do some DIY plumbing repair and it brought up some other issues I'd like to address. The main one being turning single zone baseboard hot water heating into two, maybe 3 zones. I also need to remove some leaded cast iron hub connections too. So I was just wondering if anyone on here is a plumber or well-versed in DIY plumbing. My main questions are in regards to codes, if any apply.

On a side note, never install toekick heaters with rubber hoses, even with hoses sold by the manufacturer. After 15 or so years, they WILL deteriorate and clog and make your heat not work. Then you gotta rip them out a re-plumb it.
