further adventures of teh boat anchor: found out why teh car ran soooo bad. seems that the intake pushrod on #4 commited suicide somehow. i am thinkin when teh previous owner did the timing chain replacement he managed top mess it up somehow. really teh strange part is that the rocker does not appear to have moved at all. the nut is aligned the same as the others around it and is perfectly tight.
foff667 and tru2chevy stopped by and helped get the rest of the accessaries and the intake off. i also removed the front sway and the corner braces from the k-member(the weight nazi never sleeps
)
hopefully i can find my '01 or '02 LS1 combo soon and get it installed. in the mean time i am planning to go over teh engine compartment with a fresh coat of paint and get some more weight reduction done.
