I was 14 years old when I found the 4th generation Fbody and 6 years later I finally purchased my first, a 1999 Pontiac Firebird Formula, which I found on Ls1tech. The car was located about 30 miles from Herkimer, NY where I vacation with friends about 3x a year and when I first saw the listing in June it was the day I had just gotten back from said home.
Fast forward to early August and the car is still for sale, I PM'd the guy and put a $500 non refundable deposit on it, On August 8, 2011(my 20th birthday) I signed the title and she was mine.
When I bought it.
You can see the LT1 t/a he was parting. He gave me the mint door panels from that car, the stock wheels ls1 wheels and he was going to give me the t/a hatch but the glass was cracked. I actually changed the wheels out in his driveway and left them there because he left a stock hurst shifter installed and gave me the door panels.
