not sure about a Fastenal, ill look into it, and thanks blackbird, I'm hoping to locate them locally as I would like to get these problems done and out of the way today... but if not ill be ordering from online.

My only question is that the tap I used was, like I said, 5/16 x 1.25 thread. Apparently 1.25 thread is a metric measurement. I'm pretty sure that that would convert to fine thread in a standard bolt, but if someone could confirm my suspicions that would be great.
