Thumbs up woot made my appointment to get the car dynoed

next wensday i get to finally have the car dynoed.just have to resist the urge to play with the boost controller,and or up the nitrous shot

im expecting to put down about 350+ @14 psi /wo nitrous and will prolly make 2 pulls @ 18+ psi as long as the car dosent go lean

any truth to ppl saying a numerically higher gear will kill hp on a dyno? still have the 4:10s in the car and was wondering if i should switch back to my 3:42 gears,since all the turbo guys say the higher gear also hurts the turbo

anyone with a video cam gonna be free next wensday night,would love to get some videos of this.only thing i have is my digi cam but thats limited to 30 second clips without sound

Where are you having it dynoed?

Most turbo guys run less gear, I think the reason (or at least part of the reason) is that it helps to build boost off the line. I'm sure someone more experienced with turbos can add to that.

im having it dynoed at mrc in spootswood.i tried for like 1 week to get ahold of somone at ttp,but everythime i called it was either busy or i got the answering machine that was full so i couldnt leave a msg.

right now im feeling a lil better about this place cause they are located about 3-5 miles from my house.so if the car breaks i dont have a long walk home lol

hey anyone have an aluminum ds they would be willing to lend me for the dyno.me and kasey have been going back and forth for a bit now.figure this way i could show him there will be minimal gain over a stock steel ds
