and we thought gm was doing bad...
not only has honda canceled the nsx project and pulled out of F1, but just announced today that there will be no S200 replacement, their v8 program is canceled, and rwd acura is put on hold indefinately

The F1 pullout wasn't an economic decision. F1 is changing rules to limit development in the name of reducing costs. Development of new technologies is exactly why companies like Honda and Toyota get into F1 in the first place.
