Anybody else getting a nice spark show with this wind?

One of the trees just up the road was hitting the power lines creating a huge spark shower and loud buzzzz. I was out in the front yard when it first happened and just thought it was noise coming from the airport nearby. The 2nd time I was looking and it was a spark explosion. Lots of people came running out of their houses to see what was going on. I have no idea if I have power at home or not, I'm at work right now.

No sparks but I keep waiting for the shutters or siding to go flying. Friday was garbage pickup and plastic garbage cans are all over the place.

be careful with those downed wires...they are cool to look at when they are sparking all over the place but if you stare into them too long they can really damage your eyesight.

I was in the front yard when a dead tree fell over across the street on the golf course. All you could hear was the sound of splintering wood!

Up on Rt. 1 in the Princeton / Plainsboro area there are several sections of power poles that are bent over pretty severely or completely cracked in half from the wind. I would imagine that the ground is pretty soft after the vast majority of this snow melted in the past few days.
