LT1 exhaust

What's every1 like for exhausts on their lt1 cars? I like how the magnaflow sounds on my car, so I think I may put a magnaflow on this car, but i'm not sure yet. Also is there any sites out there with sound clips from LT1 cars? The car will never have headers on it, so an exhaust that is a good amount louder than stock is what I'm looking for.(Not loudmouth loud).

Depending on your budget, Mufflex sounds good. Low cost the Jeggs system isn't too bad?

Below is a link, there are a bunch of sound clips on the left side menu bar.

yeah lt1engine.com is nice. magnaflow isn't bad especially if you throw a cutout in there too. hooker's sound pretty nice as well.

The SLP 2OTL sounds good but probably isn't loud enough for you. The Borla may be your best bet since you can change out the plates.

i never had exhaust without headers on this car now... but i had a hooker aerochamber kit on my old 93 with stock manifolds and ypipe for a while before putting headers on it and i was pleased... but its a huge muffler... just warning you if you go that route.... and the tips are not very eye pleasing to me... but you can always change those... depending on how much money you want to spend... the hooker is cheap... so is magnaflow... borla and corsa are up there... i run GMMG as you know and i love it... but thats up ther ein price too and i have no idea what it will sound like with out headers... might be very raspy and backfirealot with stock manifolds... here a site i used to listen to exhausts... its mainly ls1 stuff but there is a good amount of lt1 stuff too... http://www.ls1sounds.com/ ....and youtube is also your freind... there is alot of crap on there...

Hooker catback here..quietish at idle, fairly loud when you get on it. About as loud as your ellis juan is on the inside, if not a little bit more.

i love the sound of my borla. brand new they are expensive as hell but if you find one used they arnt that bad plus they have a built in cutout system

that is with full exhaust. shorty headers, magnaflow hi flo cat.its on the wide open setting in the cutout. it sounds very similar with just the cat back.

don't mind the spray and some smoke, i just had it running after not running for a good week
