Paging jOn...

jOn, just making sure everything made out alright tonight after your little episode on the side of Rt.18. Im pretty sure its either your coil, or Ignition Control Module. Let me know man, hoping those two punk tow truck drivers didn't dump the car by accident or anything. Later

Jon

just an excuse for me to tell my story....

ok so i'm accelerating somewhat rapidly onto rt 18 on an on-ramp and the car stopped running out of nowhere...there was NO power loss, NO stumble, NO NOTHING...it just stopped running around 4grand in 2nd gear...took me like 5 seconds to realize that the car wasnt running(stock exhaust and loud radio) and then another couple seconds to realize that i had to get off the on-ramp...so with no power steering i managed to get the whole front of the car over the white line, but the right rear wheels was about a foot(if that) over the white line(shoulder). so now im on an incline by myself with asshats missing my car by a foot or so as they come onto rt 18(even thought the hazards are on). i ended up taking my shoe off and using it as a wheel chock, dropping the e-brake...strapping my shoe on while under the wheel, and pushing the car from behind enough so that the left rear tire was almost to the white line. then jon showed up and helped me push the car more onto the shoulder. then the tow truck came (a couple of doucsche bags) and towed it to my mechanic...ill know by tomorrow what is up with it

oh yea forgot to mention when i tried to start the car it sounded like i got 2 spark plug fires but with alot of time inbetween and then the car died again...and never turned over at all after that

I got zapped with 150,000 volts when I was out at school. Our teacher had a GM DIS coil and he hooked it up to a battery charger and had kids hold the terminals on it. Now that was a kick! But volts don't mean anything though, its the amps that kill you.
