HOLY $h1+!!!!
i would put a lot of luck in that save. with slicks the sidewall could have just as easily folded over and flipped the car. he did keep his counter steering up pretty good though.
he is one lucky bastard either way.

I saw this on another message board. I'll agree, thats one hell of a save, but if your gonna be putting out that kinda power.. put some freakin bars on the back of the car!

or take all the droop out of the front susepnsion, or stiffen teh rear suspension, or run less rear tire, or...........
unfortunately we all know how many guys think ripping a huge wheelie is the coolest thing a car can do. someday they will all realize that they are wasting et and keep that front end low.
i question why he woudl have it drift that far out of the groove and stay in it. he created most of his own drama.

Well he picked a good car to drag race in. Having a low CG and a stiff rear suspension saved his ass, his car, and the other drivers car. Lucky SOB that's for sure. That's for sure a "crap you pants... twice" scenario. Maybe even 3 times with the wheelie, the slam, the near the gard rail, and then the crossing the line and going sideways. WOW.

I need clean shorts just watching it! I wonder how much $$$$ was on the line to make him get back in it, or if he is just nuts or stupid?
