I hate them both, iuse Airborne/DHL, half the price, half the delivery time and nothing has been broken yet. I got a brand new LS6 block that came Fed-Ex and they dropped it at least once. Case wash cracked with holes in it and the block was wrecked. Came to find out the fed-ex standard for packing is to "Survive a 5 foot drop intact". They made good on it, but it wasted a good deal on an LS6 block ($400). It was insured for $400 which gave me my money back, but not enough to get another new block. Needless to say I was pissed

I used to work for UPS in Boundbrook...you don't wanna know what they do.
I work in the logistics industry so I've toured all the facilities. And with sending out at least 30 shipment s day, rangeing fron a small 8x8x8 box to a 40x48x40 skid:
For big packages FX>UPS
For courier services, DHL>*

Give the shipping companies some credit... they sort thousands of packages a day... I'd like to see a percentage of how many are actually screwed up shipments vs. how many are shipped correctly. There has to be an ungodly low percentage of ****ups.

I work for FedEx ground and last night in my section alone we had a volume of 15,500 packages. And my scan SWAK rate is 98.5% Im in the top 5 Scanners (SWAK) in the entire plant. Id love to give the entire plants #'s per night but their so big I cant remember them off the top of my head. But out error rate for the plant is very very low. Were the largest and best plant in the Tri-state Area.
