so for the first time since this board has been here...

...i actually have a functional f-body.

I parked my 87 iroc in June 2004 to do an engine swap, and I _finally_ just got it put back together.

the new engine is a 90 350 4 bolt roller block .030 over, all forged internals, ported bowtie 2 heads, custom grind roller blower cam, and topped off with a holley stealth ram setup. The engine control is an accel dfi 6 harness. Once it's broken in my paxton blower will be going back on it.

the engine is backed by a 94 T56 from an LT1 Z28. While i had it apart i switched the rims too, to the 17" slp SS rims direct fit for a thirdgen.

beyond the drivetrain, the list of stuff done to this car by me over the last 6 years is ridiculous - basically everything in the suspension has been upgraded or redone, the interior was switched from red to black/grey with 4th gen seats, corvette tail lights (love them or hate them), kickass stereo setup, and more stuff i'm not mentioning.

here's a picture of the engine bay - obviously still some cleanup to do

and here's a picture of the car itself after cleaning over a year's worth of filth off it.

Looks mean! Can't wait to hear how the motor runs, I'm looking to do a Stealthram sometime in the future. And I dig the wheels too, I have 'em on my '88 Monte SS.
