Back from my Maine trip

Yeah, so Maine is my favorite place to go and I have some family that live up there so I went to go see them. Had an excellent time, drive up was great but the drive home sucked. I sat in traffic for 3 hours in Massachusetts. Up there its amazing to see some prices of some F-Bodies
Examples:
1999 Trans Am LS1 6 Speed T-tops Leather Interior. 65xxx miles =$7800
(Sweet looking and sounding car if I had the money i would have bought it the kid was leaving for the marines or something and needed to sell it
1992? Iroc-Amazingly beautiful car-$4500
1967 Camaro-327 TH350 3:73s nice interior great exterior $10,000

But the trip wasnt all cars.(Didnt get to drive the 427 Vette though) My uncle and I traveled to New Hampshire and looked at a few rifles. He ended up buying an AK47 (obviously not fully automatic) I can say its one impressive and amazingly shooting firearm. That thing has some kick to it...He also brought up his M1 Carbine. My cousin brought his AR15...yeah its crazy as hell. All in all it was a great trip...i have a bruised shoulder from letting the ak47 wonder a little bit while firing at a high rate. I have some pics of the whole trip ill get up asap. See ya later

Yeah you can... it's not pretty on the bad days but you can manage. It'll give you sore muscles from being so stressed out but I've done it for 5+ winters in NJ and Ohio... without winter tires!

yes this is true, because our front spoilers/ground effects act like a mini snow plow. lol

If theres more than an inch of unplowed road i do nothing but spin. If the road is plowed im fine, however after a few inches and all we start doing is plowing snow forget it. Ive done it for the past two winters, and do i ever miss my jeep in the winter months.

Yeah i don't know about you guys but my ****box with 2.73 peg leg i couldn't even drive through an inch of snow...and i had brand new BFG tractions on the rear too.
Now my Caprice...thats a different story! That thing is a ******** truck! I bought 2 cheap ass pep boys light truck tires, they got good thread depth on them and i did NOT get stuck once through out all the snow we had last year. I work on the top of summit so from my house its all up hill. And that thing weighs like 100,000,000,000 LBS

ya know, I have traction TAs on my car (I think that is what you are talking about) and they are amazing in the rain, they hook like a bastard on the street, but in the snow as soon as a few flakes start falling, its all over for me.

Are the Traction T/A's that bad in the snow? Oh boy...I just put a set on the Maxx.
I love them, and they have made it a whole new car. Like the wet traction and dry, but we will have to see in the winter.

Open diff = stuck in snow but stable
LSD = move in snow but it's scary keeping it pointed straight

Yes, deffinatly the best tire in its class. Offers great performance for the dollar. Even the new Mich Exalto A/S cannot offer the all around performance the Tractions can.
One of my best selling tires in the H-V rated series.
