GM parts direct sucks....
i ordered my new IAC harness on the 20th for 28.XX shipped, i was happy since the dealer wanted a little over 50 for the same thing, bump that 8)....i figured it would take a week to deliver, no worries, the car will idle in the triple digits soon, so i really didnt mind...well today i recieve an email from DHL, "your ordered has been shipped out on Sept. 29th"....me =  ....i read a little further, 'may arrive on Oct. 5th'.....wtf....

I dont think its GMPD. Its more along DHL. Their shipping is horrible, why do you think they dipped out of the spotlite for a while? They were over run by the much more superior Fed Ex and UPS. The only reason their back is beacuse FedEx bought them out!

It's GMPD.....they have such a high demand that the shipping department can't keep up with the orders. I used to get my parts within a week then it started taking 2 or 3 weeks and I called to find out. They just can't keep up with the demand.

FedEx does not own DHL. DHL is actually almost as big as UPS and FedEx internationally. they just suck in the US. DHL also own every truck you see that says Roadway or Yellow Freight on it.
the freight and international sevices are great, their ground services suck nuts.

I agree. When I ordered my headlight motor it took them 2 weeks to get it to me
